Services
I will help you to find solutions that meet the unique educational needs of your child. I am committed to providing personalized support and guidance on your child’s educational journey. It can be extremely difficult to navigate meetings, evaluations, services and placement options that are available for your child. I will meet with you, review your child’s evaluations and reports, go with you to your child’s meetings, visit placement options and support you and your family every step of the way.
-
I provide a thorough review of your child’s IEP to evaluate the strengths, gaps, goals, services, accommodations, and progress monitoring. I offer clear, detailed feedback and recommendations so you can make informed decisions and feel confident advocating for your child.
-
I review psychoeducational, neuropsychological, speech/language, OT, PT, and behavioral evaluations and help you understand the results in clear, accessible language. I translate testing data into actionable steps and support you in requesting additional assessments when needed.
-
I help you prepare for school meetings, organize priorities, develop questions, and participate alongside you, either in person or virtually. My goal is to ensure you feel supported, that your concerns are documented, and that your child’s needs are addressed.
-
I work with you to secure appropriate services, supports, accommodations, and placements. This includes advocating for evidence-based instruction, related services, specialized programs, and appropriate levels of support based on your child’s individual needs.
-
I help develop, revise, and strengthen 504 plans to ensure students receive meaningful accommodations. I can also support you during 504 meetings and help advocate when accommodations are not being implemented effectively.
-
I provide ongoing support to help you navigate the special education system with confidence. This includes understanding your rights under IDEA and Section 504, improving communication with school teams, and learning academic and behavioral strategies to support your child at home.
-
I support students and families through major educational transitions, including:
Early Intervention → Preschool
Preschool → Kindergarten
Elementary → Middle School
Middle School → High School
High School → Post-secondary
I help ensure continuity of services, careful planning, and readiness for new environments.
-
I review Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and help you advocate for positive, effective behavior supports. I collaborate with school teams to strengthen interventions and ensure that plans align with your child’s needs.
-
For families who prefer a long-term partnership, I offer continued guidance throughout the school year. This includes check-ins, support communicating with school teams, reviewing progress, monitoring services, and helping prepare for meetings.
-
I help families explore educational programs, specialized settings, and school options that best match their child’s learning profile. Together, we review curriculum approaches, instructional models, and environments that align with your child’s strengths and needs.
-
I support students and families preparing for the transition from high school to college by offering guidance in:
Understanding differences among IDEA, Section 504, and ADA protections
Determining what documentation is needed for college accommodations
Communicating with college disability services offices
Identifying colleges with strong support programs
Coaching students to self-advocate and navigate college expectations
